Men’s Hormone Therapy

  • Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT)

    • Injections (testosterone cypionate or enanthate) — usually require coordination with a compounding or retail pharmacy. Patients can self-inject at home with teaching or come in for injections (if you offer home visits).

    • Transdermal gels/patches.

    • Oral options (less common).

  • Add-on meds: hCG or clomiphene (for fertility preservation), anastrozole (for aromatase inhibition).

  • Monitoring: baseline + ongoing labs (CBC, CMP, testosterone, estradiol, lipids, PSA in men >40).

  • Initial consult → order labs → review via telehealth → prescribe TRT → ongoing monthly/quarterly follow-ups.

Testosterone muscular injections are typically a weekly or bi-weekly injection .



Compounded BHRT creams, sublingual tinctures.

Progesterone, Estrogen and Testosterone can be compounded into topical creams that are applied either once daily or twice a day. 

Thyroid Management can be managed with compounded or prescription which is desiccated thyroid and a more natural approach to thyroid management.

 

You should always have your TSH, Free T3, Total T4 tested as well as Thyroid Antibodies if you have Hashimoto's.

 

Your insurance may or may not cover these test depending on symptoms.
